
Dr. Shashi Jatiani, Director Research, leads internal R&D, external collaborations for the scientific development of the SeromYx Systems therapeutic antibody platform across therapeutic areas with a focus on oncology, immuno-oncology, and autoimmunity. He speaks on behalf of the company at global conferences and drives technical discussions with clients. In his previous roles in the biotech industry, Shashi served as lead biologist in cross functional teams delivering developmental candidates for solid tumor indications. He led interdisciplinary industry-sponsored small molecule oncology drug discovery campaigns as a faculty member of the Departments of Oncological Sciences and Pharmacological Sciences at Mount Sinai Medical Center and developed deep expertise in cancer therapeutics during his postdoctoral training at the Temple University School of Medicine. He holds a Doctorate in Molecular Biology from the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research, University of Mumbai, where he studied the role of large G proteins in endocytosis and received a Masters of Science degree in Microbiology from the Maharaja Sayajiroa University of Baroda.
